About

"Most genealogy services stop at charts and dates. I believe your family deserves their story."

Mary Hamall Morales

Founder, Storyline Genealogy

After more than 40 years as a Pulmonary Function Technologist, I turned my lifelong passion for genealogy into my second career. What started as curiosity about my own Irish ancestors—and a mysterious Native American ancestor we never knew existed—became years of investigation that taught me how to solve the cases others had given up on.

Through Storyline Genealogy, I help families transform their research into compelling stories that connect generations. I don't just find names and dates—I uncover how your ancestors lived, survived, and shaped the legacy you carry today.

What Sets Me Apart

I solve genealogy mysteries that have stumped families for generations. My seven-year investigation into the Owen Hamall case—tracking one family across Ireland, Canada, and the United States—taught me that breakthroughs come from creative methodology, not just persistence.

I developed occupational tracking to distinguish one John Kenny among hundreds in Brooklyn. I use reciprocal sponsorship analysis to prove family relationships when no direct records survive. I integrate DNA evidence to validate documentary research—not replace it.

My Approach

My approach combines detective work with storytelling. Every claim is verified through multiple sources, every connection is documented with evidence, and every narrative honors both historical facts and human experience.

Whether your ancestors survived famines, built business empires, or made brave journeys to new countries, their stories deserve to be told with depth and respect.
